ABOUT THE ROLE

The Maintenance Supervisor leads all maintenance activities to ensure equipment, vehicles, and facilities operate safely and efficiently. This role oversees preventive maintenance, repairs, and team coordination while maintaining compliance with safety standards and operational goals. The position requires both leadership and hands-on involvement to support reliable day-to-day operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Responsible for maintaining documentation and scheduling of all preventive maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
  • Assigns employees to jobs, instructs them in the proper performance of work, and familiarizes them with company rules and regulations
  • Plans and schedules the work of the maintenance department to make maximum utilization of personnel, equipment, and materials
  • Well-versed and certified in established Lock-out / Tag-out procedures.
  • Well-versed and certified in established Confined Space Procedures
  • Arrange for proper maintenance of machines, equipment, and facilities under his responsibility
  • Inventory of replacement parts
  • Other duties as assigned


WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate is a hands-on maintenance leader with strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to equipment reliability and facility operations. They are highly organized, safety-focused, and capable of balancing team leadership with day-to-day troubleshooting and repairs. This individual communicates effectively, develops their team, and drives efficiency through preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE



  • Associate's degree or equivalent in training, education, or 5 years of experience as maintenance supervisor, or equivalent combination of experience, training, and education
  • Solid understanding of diesel engines, as well as mechanics, electrical and engineering in general
  • Working knowledge of facilities, machines and equipment
  • Must have the ability to document, track, and report on activity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • Computer skills, as several diagnostic procedures and precision repairs may be carried out with computers.
  • Experience in planning maintenance operations
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.


WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS



  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm use
  • Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hours
  • Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequently
  • Ability to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazards
  • Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors (Depending on location)
  • Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.
