Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Asset Management Specialist to oversee the lifecycle of our biomedical equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring that all medical devices are tracked, maintained, and compliant with healthcare regulations. The role includes responsibility for leveraging Accruent (TMS/Connectiv) to effectively manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Asset Lifecycle Management: Track biomedical assets from procurement through decommissioning, ensuring accurate data entry and status updates.
  • Software Administration: Act as the primary user for the Accruent platform to manage preventative maintenance (PM) schedules and corrective work orders.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all equipment meets Joint Commission, FDA, and local regulatory standards by maintaining meticulous digital records.
  • Inventory Control: Perform physical audits and tagging of biomedical and imaging equipment to reconcile with the digital database.
  • Reporting: Utilize Accruent's reporting tools to analyze equipment uptime, maintenance costs, and replacement cycles for leadership.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3+ years in healthcare technology management (HTM) or biomedical asset coordination.
  • Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Accruent (TMS, Connectiv, or Maintenance Connection) is required.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret equipment data to improve operational efficiency.
Preferred Skills:
  • CBET (Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician) certification.
  • Experience with medical device integration and networking.
