Description Job Title: Assembler Location: Oldsmar, FL Employment Type: Contract (13 months) Industry: Aerospace and Defense Compensation: $23.00 - $26.00 /hr. Schedule: 4/10 hrs/Week. - (1 ^st shift) About the Opportunity: The primary responsibility is performing touchup soldering and visual inspection of SMT assemblies to ensure conformance with quality standards and customer specifications. Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and power tools. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications. Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of experience in working with (SMT) touch-up after solder re-flow. What Sets You Apart: Seeking a detailoriented technician with strong soldering skills to join our SurfaceMount Technology (SMT) production line. Ability to identify solder defects with the use of a microscope and other equipment, such as AOI. Able to read/write English. Blueprint Reading.
