Employment Type: Contract (13 months)

Compensation: $23.00 - $26.00 /hr.
Schedule: 4/10 hrs/Week. - (1 st shift)
About the Opportunity:
  • The primary responsibility is performing touchup soldering and visual inspection of SMT assemblies to ensure conformance with quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

What You'll Do:
  • Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and power tools.
  • Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
  • Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in working with (SMT) touch-up after solder re-flow.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Seeking a detailoriented technician with strong soldering skills to join our SurfaceMount Technology (SMT) production line.
  • Ability to identify solder defects with the use of a microscope and other equipment, such as AOI.
  • Able to read/write English.
  • Blueprint Reading.

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
