Manager, Revenue Accounting

We are seeking a Manager of Revenue Accounting to serve as a subject matter expert for revenue accounting and lead and oversee critical revenue functions within our fast-paced and collaborative accounting team. In this highly visible and impactful role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the revenue accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, and driving operational excellence across all revenue processes.

You will supervise a team of revenue accountants and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in finance, sales, and legal to evaluate complex contracts, calculate and maintain Standalone Selling Price (SSP) models, provide accounting support and analysis for all revenue, review and approve journal entries, account reconciliation and other items, and manage and document the accounting for complex multi-element arrangements. As a strategic leader, you will play a key role in enhancing internal controls, supporting audit readiness, and contributing to scalable systems and processes as the business grows.

* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the revenue accounting team, ensuring deadlines, quality, and compliance standards are consistently met

* Review and approve revenue recognition for customer contracts and purchase orders in compliance with ASC 606

* Oversee the calculation and application of Standalone Selling Price (SSP) models and ensure appropriate revenue allocation across multiple performance obligations

* Evaluate complex multi-element arrangements, including collaborative and percent of completion (POC) arrangements, and provide technical guidance to the team on proper revenue treatment

* Ensure timely and accurate preparation and review of revenue-related journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close deliverables

* Develop and mentor team members through ongoing coaching, training, and performance management

* Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Order Management, and FP&A to assess contract terms and provide strategic accounting input, including the determination of the appropriate accounting treatment.

* Maintain and enforce strong internal controls over revenue recognition processes and documentation

* Lead the preparation of audit-ready revenue documentation and represent the revenue function during internal and external audits

* Support the development of revenue-related disclosures for financial statements and SEC/public filings

* Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and scalability enhancements across the revenue cycle

* Stay informed on evolving GAAP guidance and industry trends to ensure compliance and readiness for future changes

* Lead or support system enhancements and ERP/reporting initiatives related to revenue recognition

What You'll Bring

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (required)

* CPA license (preferred)

* 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting (with public company audit clients) and/or corporate revenue accounting

* Strong technical knowledge of ASC 606, including SSP modeling and accounting for multi-element arrangements

* Proven leadership skills, with experience managing or mentoring accounting professionals

* Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements and manage complex accounting workflows

* Familiarity with financial systems such as Oracle EBS, Oracle RMCS, Noetix, Salesforce.com, Hyperion, and Agile is highly preferred

* Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and work cross-functionally with multiple teams
