| Position Summary |
The Clinic Manager is a professional registered nursing (RN) position that provides leadership and management of the West Campus Well-being Center and reports to the Director of Nursing and Care Management. Key responsibilities include clinic operations, fiscal responsibility, management of support staff, and direct nursing care. The West Campus Well-being Center provides counseling services and limited medical services during academic semesters, requiring coordinated operational and clinical oversight. As a member of Nursing Leadership, the Clinic Manager serves as an exemplary ambassador of the
UHC leadership and service excellence principles. |

Operational Oversight:
- Provides strategic oversight of clinic operations for the West Campus site to provide effective care and clinical services to patients.
- Provides leadership in, monitoring, and optimizing clinic workflows to ensure efficient, effective, highquality operations to the specialized needs of this setting.
- Coordinates purchasing of new medical equipment and supplies, including installation, maintenance, and education related to new equipment.
- Ensures that the clinic meets applicable accreditation and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborates and coordinates with UHC departments, internal and external entities to meet clinic and patient needs.

Clinical Nursing:
- Ensures the delivery of safe, effective, and appropriate clinical nursing care.
- Provides culturally sensitive and age-specific nursing care to patients of the University Health Center (primarily at the West Campus site).
- Demonstrates the ability to accurately and safely triage and assess patients, plan nursing care, administer medications, coordinate patient needs, and provide follow-up teaching.
- Provides support and continuity of care for patients, including coordination of follow up at UHC and to referral coordinator as needed
- Provides individualized patient education that meets physical, psychological, social, and cultural needs.
