An Epic Instructional Designer who can independently own Epic Ambulatory, Beacon and Specialty application training. This role supports providers and care teams in ambulatory clinics, oncology, behavioral health, and value based care settings, with a strong emphasis on practical, workflow based training that improves efficiency, quality and clinician experience.
Ideal candidates bring a mix of Epic training and instructional design experience, with preference for those who have supported ambulatory, oncology, behavioral health, or specialty care environments. Experience with Epic's AI enabled features, decision support tools, and efficiency functionality is a plus. Strongly preferred candidates will already be Epic certified or credentialed. Candidates with solid Epic training and instructional design experience who can successfully certify are also a strong fit. The Instructional Designer Intermediate is responsible for the successful development and system-wide delivery of training for software that is managed through the Information & Technology Services (ITS) department. Working under moderate supervision, this position designs training curricula, develops educational content, configures software training environments, coordinates & conducts training sessions, and resolves service tickets & requests. This position communicates and collaborates with all stakeholders of the organization to improve individual and organizational performance. Essential Job Function
