POSITION PURPOSE The Supervisor of Building Services is responsible for assigning and managing work for a team of facilities associates. This includes communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring and performance management in accordance with applicable policies and procedures (SOP's, GDP's and GMP's). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Plans, assigns and directs the construction, maintenance and repairs of buildings, grounds and related equipment with internal associates and vendors.
- Assists with the planning, development and coordination of projects, remodeling and renovation across the company properties; inspects and coordinates work of outside contractors.
- Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing best practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements.
- Coordinates and supervises internal porter and technician staff including but not limited to timekeeping, scheduling, and performance management.
- Order and maintain required inventory of supplies after financial approvals are obtained.
- Assure accuracy of reports, including Vendor Projects, Recycling Reports, Waste Reporting, Supply Requisition Reports, Project Status reports, and Quality Defects
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all PPE, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Supervise team members to identify and resolve defects, efficiency losses, material problems, etc. Work with team members to resolve problems contributing to inefficiency or loss of facility use.
- Develop and effectively recommend team staffing assignments to achieve optimum skill balance and work distribution within the team.
- Provide oversight and input pertaining to repair and maintenance pre-construction activities and ensure that timely startup, new/revised projects, or processes can be satisfactorily handled by team members.
- Responsible for the identification of facilities problems and the effective coordination of mechanical support and material handling services to achieve a high level of facility maintenance.
- Set high standards of professional conduct relative to adherence to safe work practices, product quality, personal work habits, positive attitude, housekeeping and Company policies.
- Report and take necessary immediate action for all industrial accidents.
- Responsible for periodically developing a written team improvement plan to achieve production goals and standards.
- Any other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 5-10 Years of experience working in facilities maintenance
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Excellent organizational skills, and ability to interact with cross functional teams throughout the organization.
- Must be proficient in data entry, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, critical thinking, problem-solving, people management, and effective communication skills
WORKING CONDITIONS
- No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions.
SALARY RANGE
- $75,000 - $88,000 annually, plus bonus
