Location Riverside, CA

Pay Rate: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

Shift: Monday - Friday | Start Time Between 7:00 AM & 8:30 AM

  • High school diploma
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory planning, purchasing, or materials management in manufacturing
  • Proven ownership of inventory metrics (service levels, inventory turns, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles (safety stock, lead times, demand variability)
  • Experience managing high-value inventory (six- or seven-figure levels preferred)
  • Proficiency with ERP systems; experience with planning or AI-based tools preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally


Preferred:



  • Experience in ISO/QMS environments and supplier performance management
  • Familiarity with CRM or supplier management systems
  • APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM and/or CSCP)
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field


Key Responsibilities:



  • Own inventory performance for assigned materials, including service levels, inventory turns, and investment
  • Make data-driven buy / do-not-buy decisions based on demand, lead times, and inventory risk
  • Apply inventory planning principles (EOQ, reorder points, safety stock, lead time analysis) to optimize stock levels
  • Balance service targets (95-98% on-time delivery) with working capital constraints
  • Monitor inventory and respond to demand shifts, supplier issues, and planning exceptions
  • Partner with production, engineering, and suppliers to prevent shortages and mitigate risk
  • Utilize ERP and AI-enabled planning tools, applying judgment for exceptions and overrides
  • Identify and reduce excess and obsolete inventory
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records in compliance with company procedures
