What We Need:
We are currently searching for an Allsteel Sales Associate to join our team.
The Allsteel Sales Associate plays a key role in driving sales growth and expanding market share. This position offers a dynamic, balanced experience, spending 50% of time in-market executing key sales priorities and initiatives, and 50% focused on generating revenue opportunities and elevating the sale through strategic engagements at the Allsteel Chicago Experience Center.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both relationship-building and revenue-driving environments, is energized by competition, and is motivated to make a direct impact. You'll play a critical role in accelerating profitable growth, maximizing enterprise opportunities, and consistently achieving sales targets.
This position will be based in Chicago, Illinois for initial onboarding and training, with extensive travel to designated markets. Upon successful completion of the program (Approximately 1-2 years), relocation to an Allsteel market is expected.
What You Will Do:
  • Contribute to the achievement of territory sales performance through successful execution of individual sales goals and activities.
  • Prospect for potential customers using direct methods (conducting field sales calls) and indirect methods (networking through industry contacts, influencers, and trade organizations).
  • Partner with territory dealers on project support, competitive analysis and education on products, price, programs and tools to facilitate increased sales volumes.
  • Work in conjunction with other sales members and dealership sales staff to conduct joint sales calls and attend industry trade shows when necessary.
  • Participate and/or conduct professional business reviews with assigned dealer principals to provide market analysis and recommendations on strategic program utilization, maximizing the benefits of a business relationship.
  • Educate and coach dealers on utilization of programs that complement their business' market position.
  • Build effective sales relationships to strengthen company position within the account and leverage against competition.
  • Provide insight into and actively participate in the implementation of strategic business plan strategies with dealers to help drive sales and hold dealers accountable for the plans created throughout the year.
  • Ensure appropriate management of marketing funds and help develop a roadmap for growth by leveraging MDF Funds.
  • Utilize CRM to document, track and deploy key account activities, including managing sales funnel activity and associated reporting requests from management.
  • Help position company success to win bids and RFP's and serve as the company expert while providing guidance on bid activity and pricing issues.
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback to management on competition and competitive trends while recommending product and program enhancements to improve competitive position.
  • Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.
What You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field required.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience required; 2 years of experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in outside sales or completion of a sales development program highly preferred.
