Description & Requirements
The Workforce Analytics Lead independently performs advanced workforce analytics, data management, and reporting to support human resources strategy and firm initiatives. This role is responsible for producing accurate, timely, and actionable workforce insights through data analysis, dashboards, and reports. The position emphasizes hands-on execution, advanced analytical problem-solving, and translating workforce data into clear, business-relevant insights to support data-driven decision-making.
This role collaborates closely with HR partners, Talent leaders, and stakeholders to understand business questions, define metrics, and deliver high-quality workforce analytics products
What You Will Do:
  • Perform advanced workforce analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to turnover, hiring, mobility, engagement, performance, and workforce demographics.
  • Independently conduct exploratory, diagnostic, and trend analysis using HR and business data to answer complex workforce questions.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Workday Discovery Boards/Dashboards and Power BI to clearly communicate insights to HR and business stakeholders.
  • Translate analytical findings into concise narratives, insights, and recommendations tailored to executive and operational audiences.
  • Perform recurring and ad hoc workforce analysis to support Talent programs, workforce planning, and strategic initiatives.
  • Apply statistical reasoning and analytical techniques to interpret workforce data and assess the impact of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Support benchmarking, forecasting, and ROI analysis for workforce-related programs.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Talent teams to define meaningful workforce metrics and ensure analytics align with business needs.
  • Serve as a trusted analytics partner by advising stakeholders on data interpretation and implications. Data Integrity & Reporting (50%)
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of workforce data used in analytics, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Validate data sources, definitions, calculations, and transformations across HR systems and reporting tools.
  • Design, build, and maintain repeatable reporting solutions using Excel (including Power Query and advanced formulas), Power BI, and HR systems.
  • Partner with HR system owners and data providers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality issues.
  • Document data definitions, assumptions, methodologies, and reporting logic to promote transparency and consistent interpretation.
  • Respond to workforce data requests with appropriate sensitivity to data privacy, confidentiality, access controls, and governance standards.
  • Support ongoing reporting needs for dashboards, audits, and internal reporting requirements.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation, and data reliability
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in workforce analytics
  • Advanced Excel expertise, including complex formulas, Power Query, data modeling, pivot tables, and automation techniques
  • Strong experience with Power BI and/or Tableau, including data modeling, DAX or calculated fields, and dashboard design
  • Hands-on experience working with Workday data for reporting, analytics, and workforce insights
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to Unmatched Client Experience (UCX) by actively listening to understand stakeholder needs, responding with urgency and care, and building trust through clear, timely communication.
  • Knowledge of data privacy, confidentiality, and ethical handling of employee data
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay current with HR analytics tools and best practice
