Title: Manager of Circulation & Information Services Executive Area: Academic Affairs College/School/MBU: Other Academic Units Department: Lib - Collection Services Work Location: Amherst Schedule:Full Time Work Arrangement:Onsite Job Summary Reporting to the Associate Dean for Research and Learning, the Manager of the Circulation and Information Services Desks in the W.E.B. DuBois Library, supervises and coordinates the services provided by the unit. Services include information, technical, reference and circulation support. Information Services staff cover multiple shifts, including early morning, evenings and weekends, and some holidays. Essential Functions Provides leadership and direction for all aspects of the unit, including the supervision, training, evaluation, and performance management of unit staff. Advocates and champions unit needs to library administration. Other Functions Contributes to the planning of library public programming. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of customer service experience, preferably in a library environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a library. Additional Details Report to the Associate Dean for Research and Learning. Working Conditions Work is performed in a standard office or indoor university environment and involves minimal physical exertion. Work Schedule and Work Arrangement Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
