Description The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie has been caring for children throughout the Hudson Valley for over 175 years! We strive to empower children and families to achieve optimal health and well being. We are currently seeking a Intake Coordinator to work in our AnchorPoint Children's Crisis Residence Program. Position Summary: The Intake Coordinator will provide essential support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of admissions to the AnchorPoint Children's Crisis Residence. This position functions as a part of a multidisciplinary team, under the direct supervision of the Program Director. The Intake Coordinator plays a critical role in assessing initial eligibility, coordinating information gathering, and facilitating smooth transitions into the program, all in alignment with NYS OMH guidelines and the program's family-centered, trauma-informed philosophy. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm, with rotating on-call responsibilities, Saturday-Sunday OFF.
