Description The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie has been caring for children throughout the Hudson Valley for over 175 years! We strive to empower children and families to achieve optimal health and well being. We are currently seeking a Assistant Director of Youth Services to work in our Empower Program. Position Summary: The Assistant Director of Youth Services supports the Director of Youth Services in overseeing daily residential program operations and promoting a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment guided by the Sanctuary Model. The role provides supervision to Program Support Specialists, participates in the on-call rotation, and supports staffing coordination, training oversight, documentation review, and program compliance. The Assistant Director collaborates with residential leadership and internal departments to support youth programming, staff development, and effective service delivery. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm, with rotating on-call responsibilities, Saturday-Sunday OFF.
