Summary of Position: (Brief description of overall responsibilities and function)

As the primary contractual focal point in the company for customers, the successful candidate will manage the relationship with the customer's representatives by providing efficient and effective communication channels and responding to the customers' requests and expectations.

The successful candidate will play a proactive role for the management of the Contract Lifecycle, assuring contractual deliverables are met in line with the company target, and in prevention of problems during the execution of the contract by highlighting potential areas of concerns and promptly driving the company to solve issues.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the helicopter delivery process in compliance with company procedures by collaborating and/or coordinating all necessary departments and ensuring the fulfilment of contractual requirements to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.

Primary commercial/contractual interface with customers during contract execution

Responsible for the proper internal archive and formal distribution of all commercial and government agreements in full coordination with Planning, Reporting & Monitoring

Responsible for effective management of Contracts, ensuring timely and accurate execution of any commercial aspect of Contract Portfolio, such as, invoicing activities, export licenses, claims, variations, warranties, provisions, guarantees

Manage the business related aspects of contracts and related deliverables as applicable (Helicopters or Service and Spare Parts) in full cooperation with the relevant PM and/or Customer Support Management (CM) and in coordination with all relevant Departments

Report to Contracts Department major claims, risks and, when necessary, involve Contract management leadership to manage contractual critical issues

Coordinate and be responsible for customer request for contractual changes from RFQ to signature of the contract amendment, including but not limited to all negotiations for amendment to contracts and other agreements under the direction and control of the direct Manager of Contract Management and support of the Sales Manager/Campaign Manager, bid Contract Management and Legal when necessary

Cooperate and Lead Acceptance and Delivery process of any contractual deliverable, as a member of an Integrated Project Team (IPT) either at AWPC facilities or at Customer bases, as applicable, and engage all the relevant Departments responsible for insurance, warranty, certifying staff, transport, etc

Verify the complete fulfillment of contractual obligations and document and communicate any deficiency to the relevant stakeholder, as part of closeout process

Provide feedback to Bid-Contract Management and Legal on contractual aspects aiming to improve contractual standards of reference

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management, or related field preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of international commercial and/or US government contracts management experience or related business development field.
  • Prior experience with Foreign Military Sales, Direct Commercial Contracts, Export Licenses, Foreign Military Financing, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and working with the Defense Security Cooperation Agency and the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.

Competencies & Attributes

1. Strong written and oral communication skills.

2. In-depth knowledge of (commercial and government) contractual terms and conditions.

3. Able to work within a team and foster teamwork and trust from both external and internal customers

4. Able to work under pressure and meet customer deadlines.

5. Ability to work with online management software-SAP or equivalent.

6. Ability to travel internationally
