Within Core AI, the Azure AI Search team delivers high-scale, enterprise-grade search and retrieval capabilities used by applications across industries. We integrate Microsoft AI for content understanding, relevance, and performance, enabling everything from traditional search to state-of-the-art retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). Our team is at the forefront of this transformation, building the next generation of retrieval systems that sit at the center of Microsoft's AI platform strategy.

The Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team at a pivotal moment. This role offers a unique opportunity to own and shape critical features of a globally distributed Azure service that is central to the AI innovation wave. You will work on core service infrastructure that directlyimpactsdevelopers and customers building AI-powered applications at scale. • Work with a passionate team of engineers to deliver successforcustomers

• Design, implement, test, ship, and support large scale services and components powering Azure AI Search experiences with industry leading quality, performance, scalability, reliability, and security

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
