| Posting Summary |
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Manager - DataCity for the Advanced Infrastructure Center. Reporting to Professor Peter Jin, the Program Manager will provide project management, reporting, and coordination support for the Rutgers
CAIT DataCity Smart Mobility Testing Ground. The Program Manager will be responsible for drafting quarterly and final reports, managing and maintaining project timelines and deliverable schedules, and coordinating among project teams, Middlesex County, and other agency clients on projects related to DataCity and work orders between Rutgers
CAIT and Middlesex County.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Assists DataCity or CAIT Principal Investigators in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the DataCity Smart Mobility Testing Ground, including coordination of project personnel involving engineers, postdocs, graduate students, and undergraduate students.
- Drafts progress reports, including quarterly, semi-annual, annual, and final reports based on agency requirements.
- Prepares technical briefs, training documentation, and other materials for agency and public outreach, presentations, and demonstrations related to DataCity and associated projects.
- Supports proposal submissions and project administration in coordination with Rutgers CAIT, project administration staff, Fiscal Coordination, and the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs.
- Provides administrative support to Rutgers CAIT by coordinating programs, projects, and unit operations.
- Performs other duties such as prioritizing work, resolving routine conflicts and issues and supporting complete and accurate project documentation.
- Assists with timely equipment acquisition and deployment.
- Tracks deadlines and deliverables and maintains regular communication on project management matters with Middlesex County, collaborative transportation agencies, Rutgers CAIT, the CEE Department, University offices, contractors, and vendors regarding DataCity operations and deployment.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and practices.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a financial/accounting function, technical report writing and editing.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and computer literacy.
- Prior project management, accounting, and administrative support experience with demonstrated experience supporting project operations, reporting, documentation, expenses, purchasing, and project schedule and deliverable tracking.

| Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience on managing projects in the area of Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) deployment, and experience working with public- and private-sector clients or teams, is preferred.
- Experience with financial, schedule, and deliverable management of large-scale deployment projects.
- Experience developing, editing, and administratively supporting funding proposals, technical reports, and final report documents for similar deployment projects.
