Responsibilities

The Marketing Manager - Commercial Banking is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that support growth, retention, and share-of-wallet expansion across Old National's Commercial Banking business. This role serves as the primary marketing partner to Commercial leaders and relationship teams, translating business priorities into targeted, compliant, and measurable marketing initiatives that drive pipeline development, client engagement, and brand differentiation.

Salary Range

The annual salary range for this position is $81,700-$165,100 plus incentive bonus. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate's relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.

Key Accountabilities

Commercial Marketing Strategy

    Develop and execute commercial marketing strategies aligned to growth, retention, and share-of-wallet priorities.
  • Translate Commercial Banking strategies (e.g., Treasury Management, Specialty Industries) into integrated, multi-channel campaigns.
  • Lead demand generation, ABM, client lifecycle, and cross-sell initiatives that support pipeline development and client acquisition.
  • Align marketing efforts to sales enablement needs and commercial revenue objectives.

Stakeholder Leadership

  • Serve as the primary marketing partner to Commercial Banking leaders, relationship teams, and specialty lines.
  • Build trusted relationships with Commercial executives, product leaders, and sales teams to align priorities and execution.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, bringing insights, best practices, and recommendations grounded in commercial banking and B2B marketing.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Digital, Brand, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, and external partners.

Content & Thought Leadership

  • Oversee development of commercial-facing content including sales collateral, product guides, web content, and client communications.
  • Develop and maintain Treasury Management product guides and digital content.
  • Partner with internal experts and vendors to create thought leadership that differentiates Old National in the commercial marketplace.
  • Support commercial events, webinars, sponsorships, and client forums to drive engagement and relationships.

Measurement, Optimization & Project Management

  • Establish KPIs and success metrics for commercial marketing initiatives, including engagement, leads, and pipeline contribution.
  • Monitor performance and optimize strategies based on insights, market dynamics, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and resources across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Bring a disciplined project-management and agile mindset to planning, execution, and follow-through.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in marketing and communications planning, including campaign execution or marketing project management.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and/or commercial banking; financial services industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience across multiple creative channels, including (but not limited to) print, digital, video, social media, and email.
  • Strong editorial judgment with the ability to serve as a thoughtful, detail-oriented reviewer; comfortable providing clear, constructive feedback to collaborators.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring agility, sound judgment, and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills-proactive, organized, clear, and persuasive-with the ability to quickly convey ideas and influence teammates and line-of-business partners.
