About the Job

This position is in the diversity-focused Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Health provides an opportunity to learn financial, technical, and interpersonal skills.
Whether seeking to continue a career in healthcare, social justice/advocacy, or a professional office setting, this role in DOGPAH provides opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities
Financial Reporting, Faculty Reimbursements (50%)
Word processing, Curriculum Vitae management in Works, other computer projects (25%)
Emails (and inbox management), Faxing, Printing, Scanning, and Filing (5%)
Mail & Other Errands (5%)
Office Supply Inventory & UMarket Orders (5%)
Administrative tasks and special projects as needed (10%)

Some of which include:
Working with University financial reporting systems
Opportunities to demonstrate independence and self-initiated projects in an office setting
Potential to work on individualized special projects specific to further career growth

Qualifications

Required:
Highschool diploma or equivalent
Works well independently and as part of a team
Effective and professional communication skills (in-person, written, telecommunication)
Previous experience in customer service or an office support role
Shows initiative and provides solutions
Pays close attention to detail and has strong follow-through and consistently updates on assigned projects
Advanced computer experience with Microsoft Office and Google Documents/Sheets
Available to work on campus for 6-10 hours per week long term, Monday-Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in the 717 Delaware Building - East Bank (Note: Split shifts are possible, depending on schedule). Remote work may be negotiated after a probationary period.

Preferred:
Experience with finance or expense reporting, especially with University EFS platforms (or is interested in accounting and possesses a willingness to learn systems and processes)
Data entry and data processing/reporting experience, including curriculum vitae management, website content database or management systems such as Drupal or WordPress

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range:$17.50 per hour depending on education/qualifications/experience.
