About the Job

The Investment Operations and Data Analyst position is expected to be part time for a limited number of weeks (expected 20-30hrs per week for 6-8 weeks). The Investment Operations and Data Analyst is expected to work on-site 2-3 days per week and will have the option to work remotely as mutually agreed. On-site work will take place at University Office Plaza located at 2221 University Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Specific projects and responsibilities will be tailored to meet the needs of the organization and the individual's skillset, but are likely to include:
  • Power BI visualization and database maintenance
  • Data entry projects
  • Investment reporting

Pay Rate Information: $35/hour

Work Environment: Hybrid

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years.
  • A significant interest in and passion for the global capital markets.
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize projects, multi-task, and collaborate on a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), Power BI, and coding experience preferred.
  • Commitment to the mission of the University and a high level of professionalism.
About the Department

The Office of Investments and Banking is responsible for managing the University's endowment fund, which comprises over $2 billion in assets and is invested across public and private investments globally, including Venture Capital, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, and Real Estate. The Investment Operations and Data Analyst will be primarily responsible for building and maintaining a database of investment information, developing reporting tools and materials, as well as other ad-hoc investment operations tasks.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $35.00; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
