Job Description I. Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of U.S. federal income tax return Form 1120 for a consolidated group.
- Analyze book-to-tax differences and support reconciliations
- Calculate and process quarterly estimated tax payments and annual extensions.
- Assist with preparation of US income tax provisions consistent with IAS 12.
- Perform tax account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of tax balances in the general ledger.
- Work with external auditors to support tax provision review.
- Support federal tax audits and information requests.
- Complete special projects and other compliance tasks.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors on tax matters
II. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in a corporate tax department or a CPA firm
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Collaborative and team-oriented
Preferred:
- Familiarity with OneSource tax software
- Advanced degree in finance-related field
- CPA certification or progress towards certification
- Familiarity with ERP consolidation systems such as BPC or HFM
