Job Description




As a Security Officer Building Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support residents with outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will respond to routine concerns, document activity, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that values integrity, innovation, and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $22.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor property access points and observe visitor, vendor, and/or vehicle activity while following site-specific post orders and documenting security-related events.
  • Support a professional living environment by assisting with routine security-related interactions, answering questions, and communicating clearly with residents, guests, and property personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
