As a Security Officer Reception Driver in San Rafael, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a residential location, where you will greet residents and guests, manage access activity, and support a professional, welcoming environment. In this driving post, you will remain a visible presence at the front desk while helping with security-related concerns through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and front desk support for a residential location.
• Monitor visitor entry and departure, verify credentials as needed, and maintain accurate logs and/or reports related to front desk activity and security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through appropriate communication channels when needed.
• Answer phones, greet incoming individuals, and provide directions and/or general assistance while helping to support established property policies and security-related procedures.
• Observe lobby and entrance activity from the front desk and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to site leadership or emergency contacts as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in security-related roles is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
