Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong data/data visualization skills and a sharp analytical mindset to turn challenging, and sometimes ambiguous, business problems into actionable insights. This role operates within a collaborative data ecosystem, partnering closely with data engineering, BI, and business stakeholders to turn evolving requirements into scalable, decision-ready solutions.

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, asks thoughtful questions, and leverages both data and technology to uncover meaningful answers.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders, BI, and data teams to gather, refine, and challenge requirements, especially when problem statements are not fully defined

• Break down ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches and hypotheses

• Manage the data/BI team's Jira board, including triage, ticket creation, and prioritization to maintain visibility of work across stakeholders

• Partner with data engineering and visualization to write clear user stories with defined acceptance criteria, translating business requirements into actionable tasks for data and BI team

• Conduct initial testing of data models, dashboards, and data solutions prior to release to validate accuracy, functionality, and alignment with business requirements before handoff to end users

• Work across teams to identify, source, and validate data needed for data solution -even when it spans multiple systems or requires transformation

• Proactively identify gaps in data, definitions, or processes, and partner with the appropriate teams to implement sustainable solutions

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of shared data models, semantic layers, and reporting frameworks

• Support a culture of data literacy by helping stakeholders better understand and use data in decision-making

• Design and develop intuitive Tableau dashboards and visualizations aligned with enterprise standards and best practices
