We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: PICU Registered Nurse in Portland, OR. Requirements:
- Required Certifications: BLS, PALS
- Required Skills: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Assist/manage intubation, Care of Ventilated Patient, Care/maintenance of acute airway, Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP), Congenital Heart Disease/Repair, Continuous Sedation, Hemodynamic monitoring, Infection control/PPE, Management of Chest Tubes, Management of gastric tubes, NG tube insertion/ management, Pediatric CVICU, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, Post cardiac surgery, Starting and maintaining IVs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Tracheostomy care, Urinary catheter insertion/management, Ventilator Management, Administration of blood & blood products, Arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, Central line blood draw, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, PICC line management
