Platform Reliability Support, IT

Platform Reliability Support, IT – (job location is New York, NY;
employer is Jefferies LLC) – Automate and streamline software
production issues and resolutions, reducing manual repetition and
reliance on ad hoc support. Create compliant trade execution within
trading workbooks, allowing users to submit and accept trade orders
without reliance on the market graphical user interface. Ensure
production readiness and release stability for company’s trading tools
post-deployment. Serve as the point of contact between trading desks
and technology teams by converting business requests into delivered
outcomes and closing issues. Identify and resolve root cause issues
for software production to improve overall platform stability. Track
and enhance software production operational and delivery initiatives,
timelines, dependencies, and work progress. Requirements: Master’s
degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information
Technology, Management of Technology, or a related field and two (2)
years of experience in the position offered or in a related role OR
Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science,
Information Technology, Management of Technology, or a related field
and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or in a
related role. All of the required experience must have included
experience with: ensuring readiness and release stability for a
financial services firm’s trading platform; liaising between financial
trading desks and technology teams by converting business requests
into deliverables; identifying and resolving root cause issues for
software production to improve overall software platform stability;
and improving software production operational and delivery initiatives
and timelines. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between
working in our New York, NY office and flexibility to telecommute from
