Production Operator I

Description

Perform work having to do with production operations and processing such as: position light or heavy weight materials on conveyor or feed mechanism for continuous processing, or position and/or remove materials to assist Machine Operator, supply containers, light or heavy raw materials or perform other like work. Under close supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Loads and moves materials to work area.

* Package parts with protective material for shipments per setup or Engineering remarks

* Applies masking to articles.

* Cleans and prepares surface of articles to be painted.

* May operate SST-E-coat system load control panel.

* Racks work pieces on conveyor; and inspects, and transfers finished pieces into or out of department.

* May perform inventory transactions.

* Cleans work area.

* Performs other routine duties.

* Perform basic functions on a computer database.
