As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol Duty in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and drive between assigned areas, helping to support a secure environment through a visible presence, strong communication, and customer service. Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, riders, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, dispatch, and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transit-related buildings, bus staging areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity across the location to help to deter trespassing, disorderly conduct, and/or policy violations while maintaining a visible presence.
• Document incidents, daily activities, and/or maintenance or security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
