Salary Range: $72,500.00-$130,500.00

Purpose of Position

Advance company goals by demonstrating initiative to continuously improve departmental and organizational operations. Provide leadership, structure, motivation, and feedback to personnel within Manufacturing departments.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Manage department personnel and activities to ensure adherence to Frasca's Mission, Vision, and Values by:
  • Developing and assigning department goals consistent with company goals.
  • Evaluating and recommending staffing needs for the department with regard to workload and company forecast.
  • Developing department budget, managing personnel and activities within budget, and proposing adjustments.
  • Reporting department performance indicators and developing plans for improvement.
  • Developing department staff through training, education, and teamwork.
  • Completing performance evaluations and providing continuous coaching and feedback for department staff.
  • Developing a departmental succession plan to ensure consistent department operations.
  • Provide feedback to other's regarding ways to improve productivity and lower costs.
  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations of the department.
  • Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities based on work priority, quality of equipment, and skills of employees.
  • Monitor and approve employee time sheets and time off requests.
  • Read and interpret technical documents.
  • Implement health and safety programs.
  • Provide on-the-job training and conduct group meetings to inform employees of new policies and procedures.
  • Specify hand tools and recommend manufacturing equipment.
  • Monitor quality standards for production and promote good production practices.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Manufacturing to expedite parts in the proper work flow.
  • Establish and maintain high quality standards within department.
  • Maintain communication between departments.
  • Reduce costs by eliminating waste in production area.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
  • Associate's degree from college/tech school (2 yr)
Minimum Experience
  • 5+ years of experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Incorporate the principles of Frasca's Mission, Vision, and Values into all aspects of performing job duties.
  • Promote progress by integrating company policy and using initiative to recommend change.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Safety & Training Coordinator.
  • Comply with all quality policies and procedures. Report quality deficiencies.
  • Communicate with customers and other departments.
