Job Title: Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Alpha Omega is searching for an experienced Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join one of our long-term Federal projects. Alpha Omega is looking for a Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team to support one of our government customers. The primary responsibilities for the position are to support all portfolio level documentation for 30+ applications, coordinate and collaborate with government client, and assist teams in best practices around vulnerability remediation. The nature of the work requires that the candidate demonstrates initiative, organization, responsibility, customer service skills, and the ability to be flexible and adaptive to a fast-paced, fluid business environment. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively and decisively with all levels of the organization, collaborate within and across teams, and be able to solve practical problems as well as exercise sound judgement with regards to sensitive and confidential information. Key Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will have real hands-on ISSO experience, with preferred experience in portfolio and O&M support. They should understand the full RMF process from start to finish, be comfortable working with different IA controls, and have experience using scanning tools and supporting ATO packages. Candidates should know FS-191, operational directives, and compliance requirements, along with a solid grasp of NIST RMF (SP 800-37) and NIST SP 800-53 controls (Rev 4 & Rev 5), CNSSI 1253.

Salary and Benefit Information: The likely salary range for this position is $119,000 - $170,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
