Join Ecolab as a Safety Health and Environmental(SHE) Specialist II at our site in Philadelphia, PA! The Safety Health and Environmental Specialist II provides support to site operations to ensure compliance with all federal and state environmental, health and safety regulations.This includes air, water and waste compliance along with worker safety, employee training and SHE conformance via use of quality systems. The position conducts regular inspections, conducts performance reviews of statistical EH&S data trends to determine risk reduction / avoidance initiatives, and incident investigating and reporting of accidents. This position could also involve interactions with regulatory agencies, emergency response personnel and legal counsel. The position requires the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment. The key challenge and responsibility of the position is to assist in driving and leading a health and safety culture change by identifying environmental health and safety "gaps" in training, policy and operating practices. Once identified, develop and lead initiatives to strengthen concerns. What You Will Do:
