ABOUT THE POSITION
Position Overview: As the Deposit Services Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance and providing management of Visions Federal Credit Union's deposit services functions (retail and commercial) and Overdraft Privilege program.

Position Type: Full-Time.

Compensation Range: $65,000.00/Yr. - $90,000.00/Yr. Hiring rate is based on related experience, education, location, and relevant skills.

Location: On-site at one of our hub locations in Endwell, NY; Saddle Brook, NJ; or Reading, PA. While this role is primarily site-based, hybrid or remote flexibility may be considered for the right candidate, aligned with business needs and leadership discretion.

What You'll Do:



  • Oversee deposit and overdraft management operations, ensuring procedures, processes, and controls are effective, consistent, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including Overdraft Privilege, to ensure compliance, data reporting accuracy, and alignment with operational best practices.
  • Maintain and enhance deposit-related policies, procedures, and disclosures, ensuring consistent messaging and adherence across all channels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Branch, Contact Center, Learning & Development, and support teams) to support training, process improvements, and enterprise initiatives impacting deposit products.
  • Monitor performance metrics and member experience trends, using data and KPIs to recommend and implement improvements to deposit and overdraft programs.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and audit support, including documentation, issue resolution, and ongoing guidance to ensure operational soundness and regulatory compliance.

  • Deposit and overdraft programs operate compliantly and with minimal risk exposure


  • Deposit operations are efficient, well-documented, and consistently executed across the organization


  • Strong cross-functional partnerships, effective execution of deposit initiatives and enterprise projects


  • Data-driven insights used to improve deposit performance and member experience


  • Strong guidance, and subject matter expertise over processes and procedures to ensure execution and consistent member experience



What You'll Bring:



  • Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience are expected; 4-6 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Specialized knowledge of regulations governing overdraft programs, Truth in Savings, and deposit and payments operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and with standard office equipment and business technology.

  • A strong sense of ownership and initiative, proactively identifying opportunities and following through on improvements


  • Adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to succeed in a role that will continue to evolve over time



  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, enabling sound decision-making in complex or changing environments



  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a team-first mindset and active participation across functions



  • Alignment with Visions' values, demonstrating integrity, service, community, and trust in day-to-day work

Preferred Qualifications:



  • 4-6 years of finance, banking, compliance, and/or credit union experience.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Working knowledge of financial analysis and accounting concepts.
