Description

This position will supervise the General Accounting - Tax & Compliance staff and will be responsible for overseeing state and other local filings across all jurisdictions, fixed and leased asset accounting, and all entity-level licensing requirements.

Salary range: $100,000 - $115,000 (DOE)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Oversee the filing and research of various taxes including alcohol taxes, excise taxes, property taxes, B&O taxes, sales and use taxes across several states.
  • Manage team entity license tracker to ensure all annual reports and license renewals are filed in a timely manner.
  • Supervise and provide direction to staff, ensuring that work is completed on time and correctly.
  • Oversee fixed assets, intangibles and other general accounting areas.
  • Work with the other personnel to review and approve financials for all partnership entities.
  • Assist in producing accurate and timely monthly financial statements.
  • Review and prepare year-end audit schedules and work closely with the external auditors.
  • Performs other duties and works on projects as assigned by Assistant Controller or Controller.



Job Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree required - Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience, some supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience with preparing and submitting business tax filings.
  • Experience in the beverage industry a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), and 10-key.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be detail oriented, with problem solving ability, and strong organization skills.

  • This position will be performed in Bellevue or Vancouver, WA, or Boise ID.
