Cleanroom Assembly Technician

We are looking for a detail-oriented Cleanroom Assembly Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for assembling, inspecting, cleaning, handling, and packaging high-purity valve components in a controlled cleanroom environment. The position is essential in ensuring product quality, contamination control, and compliance with customer specifications, engineering requirements, and internal quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities: Cleanroom Assembly & Operations

  • Assemble high-purity valve components and related products according to work instructions, engineering drawings, work orders, and customer requirements.
  • Follow all cleanroom gowning, contamination control, material handling, and housekeeping procedures.
  • Inspect components before, during, and after assembly to verify cleanliness, surface finish, fit, function, and overall quality.
  • Perform cleaning, bagging, sealing, labeling, and packaging of components according to documented procedures and customer specifications.
  • Read and interpret work orders, bills of material, engineering drawings, and assembly instructions.
  • Use hand tools, fixtures, gauges, and approved equipment safely and correctly.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation, lot traceability, and required records.
  • Identify and report nonconforming parts, process issues, or contamination concerns to the supervisor or Quality department.
  • Support final inspection and packaging activities as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with cleanroom standards.
  • Follow all safety procedures and properly use PPE and cleanroom garments.
  • Assist with continuous improvement efforts to improve quality, efficiency, and cleanliness.

Work Schedule

  • Fixed schedule, with flexibility as business needs require.
  • Some early morning, evening, or weekend work may be required based on business needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production experience required.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a cleanroom, medical device, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or high-purity manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple to complex work instructions in English.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accuracy in a controlled cleanroom environment.
  • Ability to use hand tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
