About the Job Medstar Health is looking foraDiagnostic Technologistto joinourteam! This position is part-time 10 hours per week. The schedule is Every other weekend Saturday and Sunday3pm- 130am. We are looking foraregistered Radiology Technologist with excellent communication skills. TheDiagnostic Technologistwill make a difference on our team by performing diagnostic medical radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures through interpretation. Sends images toappropriate destinationsfor interpretation. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Reports any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions. Maintains X-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order.Performs preventative maintenance regularly. Obtains patient history, answers patient questions, and explains procedures.Transports patients to radiographic room and prepares andmaintainsroom. Performs radiographic examinations.Prepareswrittendocumentation suchas evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, and progress reports. Requests and will ordersupplies. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the State of Maryland. Basic Life Support (BLS). Associate degreepreferred. This position has a hiring range of USD $29.73 - USD $48.63 /Hr.
