As a Security Guard Foot Patrol Associate in LOS ANGELES, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence while working with an agile, reliable team that values innovation, integrity, and a people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution location, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access procedures, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
• Complete routine reports and activity logs, noting incidents, maintenance issues, and/or security-related concerns observed during patrols and assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
