Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for State Site in Watertown MA

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8 AM - 6 PM

Starting Pay is $25.88 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience

As a Security Officer Armed in Watertown, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with supervisors, site contacts, and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned facilities, roadways, structures, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-traffic public spaces, helping to verify authorized access, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance issues.
  • Support emergency and incident response efforts by following post orders, preserving scene integrity when needed, preparing reports, and assisting with traffic, crowd, and/or access control during planned and unplanned events.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
