About the Opportunity

Supports the Human Resources Team with a variety of procedures, projects and tasks.

In this role, the successful candidate:

  • * Responsible for all data entry into the HRIS system including new hires, terminations, salary, personnel changes, transfers, promotions, and other information.

    * Processes status changes and ensures proper approval is acquired.

    * Explains human resources programs, policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees as needed.

    * Facilitates onboarding, and orientation.

    * Assists as directed with the Performance Management cycle.

    * Prepares, maintains and manages confidential employee records and files.

    * Reviews personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.

    * Maintains safeguards for confidential company information.

    * Reviews all new hire paperwork for accuracy and ensures that all necessary forms have been received, and completed.

    * Reviews, manages and audits the Federal form I-9 and complete the I-9 checklist to reflect all corrections necessary.

    * Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data.

    * Processes Employment Verification requests.

    * Works on special projects.

    * Assists recruiting in phone screening, job postings, reviewing resumes and performing reference checks, and assisting with recruiting, etc.

    * Informs job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc.

    * Addresses any employment relations issues, such as work complaints and harassment allegations.

    * Assists with completing background investigations.

    * Conducts training sessions as needed.

    * Maintains records of employee participation in all training and development programs.

    * Writes job descriptions as needed.

    * Oversees engagement programs and other employee relations work.

    * Other duties as assigned
