Field Technician (MKE)

Veridian Homes, one of Wisconsin's leading homebuilders, is looking for a Construction Field Technician to support our Milwaukee construction team. What You'll Do

Support Construction Operations

• Monitor and maintain erosion control measures throughout our communities.
• Assist with lot preparation, utility maintenance, and neighborhood upkeep.
• Deliver, install, maintain, and remove dehumidifiers throughout the construction process.
• Support construction operations by delivering materials and equipment to jobsites as needed.

Maintain Homes & Communities

• Perform maintenance and final-clean tasks for furnished models, inventory homes, and move-in ready homes.
• Install and maintain community assets, including mailboxes, lockboxes, signage, and access systems.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of homesites, roads, sidewalks, and neighborhood common areas.

Warranty & Customer Service Support

• Complete warranty-related requests, including material delivery, installations, and minor repairs.
• Assist with punch-list items to help ensure homes are move-in ready and homeowners receive an exceptional experience.

Equipment & Fleet

• Assist with the maintenance of company vehicles, tools, equipment, and inventory.
• Perform pressure washing, routine equipment maintenance, and other tasks that support construction operations.

What We're Looking For:

• Can work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Takes pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Has a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Is dependable, organized, and safety-focused.
• Holds a valid Wisconsin driver's license with a good driving record.

Experience in residential construction, general construction, landscaping, equipment operation, facilities maintenance, carpentry, or small engine repair is preferred but not required. This is a hands-on position that requires frequent lifting of up to 100 pounds, regular bending, climbing, walking on uneven terrain, and working in a variety of weather conditions throughout the year.
