Moog's Corporate Group is hiring Talent Acquisition Lead, to support our Military Aircraft Group.

As the Talent Acquisition (TA) Lead supporting Military Aircraft Group, you will shape recruitment strategy and drive the hiring plans for this fast-moving, innovative engineering and manufacturing-oriented business. You will direct leadership by delivering coaching and development to recruiters supporting Military Aircraft, while also enhancing the capabilities of regional teams worldwide.

You must be able to act autonomously, enjoy navigating ambiguous situations and global complexities, build innovative solutions, thrive on developing relationships, and influence change. You are the conduit between business leaders, HR Leaders, and the Recruiters to produce a comprehensive plan to meet the forecasted hiring demands. This role will partner directly with the HR Director (HRD), Human Resource Business Partners (HRBP) and hiring managers to provide workforce planning and operational metrics that create the recruiting strategy and drives the execution of the hiring plans.

To be considered for the Talent Acquisition Lead, Military Aircraft role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • A bachelor's degree plus over six (6) years progressive experience in recruitment, sourcing, and technology.

  • Global recruiting experience is a plus

  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and social media platforms.

  • Experience developing processes in support of a high growth company.

  • Experience creating a quality, full-life cycle recruiting process.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple functions, tasks, and responsibilities.

  • Manage time in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple teams.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively lead, mentor and influence Senior Management in talent attraction related decisions.

  • Strategic acumen to understand the business environment.

  • Proven analytical, problem-solving and execution skill

As the Talent Acquisition Lead, Military Aircraft, you will:

  • Build strong, ongoing partnerships with business leaders to understand their growth plans and convert workforce forecasts into actionable hiring strategies-supporting both immediate and long-term business objectives.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners, ensuring they understand external talent market dynamics and can guide leaders effectively on competitive hiring challenges and opportunities.

  • Actively participate in HR and Talent Acquisition leadership teams, bringing forward market insights, internal capacity considerations, and recommendations that drive effective workforce planning and operational decision-making.

  • Direct and develop the U.S. recruiting team while coaching regional TA partners to elevate recruiting capability worldwide.

  • Establish global standards for full-cycle recruiting excellence, candidate experience, and the use of talent analytics to guide decision-making.

  • Partner with the Senior Talent Insights Analyst to define and deliver meaningful KPIs, driving a performance-oriented culture across U.S., APAC, and EMEA teams.

  • In partnership with the regional TA partners, develop innovative, regionspecific sourcing strategies to build strong, diverse pipelines and address hardtofill roles, leveraging global sourcing support where needed.

  • Guide leaders across HR and the business on talent trends, competitive dynamics, and hiring strategies that support longterm workforce strength.

  • Coach, mentor, and build the capabilities of recruiters supporting Commercial Aircraft globally.

  • Maintain a personal requisition load of 5-8 highimpact strategic roles to stay engaged with key business priorities and maintain direct insight into candidate market conditions.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $125,000.00-$150,000.00 Annually

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
