We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Laguna Hills, CA.

Requirements:

• Required Certifications: NRP, AWHONN Advanced, ACLS, BLS
• Required Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Amnioinfusion, APGAR scores, Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), Assist with vaginal delivery, Breastfeeding Support/lactation support, Cesarean Section, Collect cord samples, Couplet Care, Drawing Venous Blood, Epidural Anesthesia, Episiotomy/Incisional Care, Foley catheter insertion/management, Fundus / lochia / perineum care, Hemorrhage/shock, Infant Identification, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Antihypertensives, Assist with high risk delivery, Circulate for C-section, Facility births/month 100-200, Facility births/month 200-300, High Risk Antepartum, ID/Security Banding, Labor & Delivery, Multiple Births, NST (Non Stress Tests), Pain assessment & management, Pitocin (oxytocin), Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Prostaglandins, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus, Spiral Electrode Placement, Starting and maintaining IVs, Sterile vaginal exam, Sterile vaginal exam, Terbutaline, Thermoregulation, Recover C-Section, Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring, Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration, Use of PCA (IV), Vaccine Administration, Vaginal Delivery, Wound assessment/care
