WHAT WILL YOU DO
The Energy Systems Project Manager (Field Project Manager) is responsible for overseeing the preparation, installation, commissioning, and support of power generation systems. This role requires strong on-site project leadership, coordination with internal teams and vendors, and a commitment to delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Oversee installation and commissioning of generator and power systems equipment
* Coordinate with sales, vendors, and internal teams to support project execution
* Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting during installation and post-installation
* Maintain strong communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle
* Deliver projects on time, within scope, and aligned with budget expectations
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)
* Customer Satisfaction: Maintain 90% NLS score post-project completion
* Project Timeliness: Complete 90% of projects on or ahead of schedule
* Budget Performance: Deliver 90% of projects within approved budget
* Installation Quality: Maintain <5% rework or failure rate
* Issue Response: Address 90% of technical issues within 48 hours
* Safety Compliance: Achieve 100% adherence to all safety protocols
* First-Time Quality: Maintain 95% "first-time right" installation score
WHAT WE EXPECT YOU

Basic Qualifications:
* Technical background in power systems, electrical, or mechanical fields preferred
* Experience managing field-based projects and installation activities
* Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field preferred
* Equivalent combination of education, technical training, or military experience will be considered
* 5+ years of experience in project management, field service, or power systems installation preferred
* Prior experience with generator systems, electrical power distribution, or similar equipment strongly preferred
* Experience managing field-based projects with multiple stakeholders and job sites
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
* Company vehicle provided for travel to job sites to support project oversight and generator installations
* Regular travel required to supervise pre-work and on-site operations across multiple locations
* Minimum annual usage of 15,000 miles expected to support active project management responsibilities
* Consistent on-site presence required to ensure installation quality and adherence to standard
