  • $25.25/hour


The Church Partnership Specialist will support the overall engagement with faith partners in support of collaboration with LSS, volunteer engagement, brand awareness, and philanthropic lead generation. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Church Partnership, the Specialist will be responsible for supporting cross-functional church engagement in pursuit of deep partnership, serve as a subject matter expert on LSS engagement with faith partners, and ensure church partnership business systems are well supported.

Job Scope:
* Support development and implementation of statewide church partnership outreach program.
* Coordinate development of Church Partnership communications, communications calendar, and related collateral
* Management of Church Partnership social media, inbox, and other communications channels
* Work with external constituents to schedule meetings, church visits, and speaking engagements
* Support Church Partnership events, including synod assemblies
* Ensure prompt communications and follow up with relationships and new leads generated through engagement with faith communities

Qualifications and Requirements:



  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with marketing and communications, project management, volunteer management, and administration preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and its full communion, ecumenical, and interfaith partners.
  • Ability to use email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to learn Trello and Raiser's Edge.
  • Valid driver's license.
