Logistics Software Developer - Sterling Heights, MI

Pay: Up to $39/hour

We are hiring a Logistics Software Developer for a temporary opportunity supporting enterprise logistics systems and engineering data platforms. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in Teamcenter, CAD systems, and database-driven applications who enjoy troubleshooting, development, and user support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Teamcenter PLM systems, including troubleshooting, user training, and data management
• Assist with software development, testing, deployment, and documentation
• Manage BOM updates, JT data exports, and PDF drawing downloads
• Perform UAT and production testing following system upgrades
• Utilize VisMockup for JT file merging, visualization, and technical publishing support
• Work with NX and Creo CAD tools for model access and file conversions (STEP/JT)
• Provide application and database support for logistics software and reporting systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and usability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Experience with Teamcenter, VisMockup, and CAD tools (NX/Creo)
• Knowledge of programming/scripting (Python, Perl, VB.NET, shell scripting)
• Familiarity with SQL databases and RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and meet project deadlines
• Eligible to obtain a security clearance
