Monday-Thursday
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
1300 Pioneer Student Center, University of Wisconsin-Platteville

Parking: Please park in the lot closest to the Pioneer Student Center.

No resume, application, or previous experience is required. Our team will meet with you, answer your questions, and discuss available opportunities during your visit.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Cleans, inspects, and maintains kitchen equipment and work areas

As a Food Service Assistant, you'll help create a welcoming dining experience for students, employees, and guests by:

  • Serving food and beverages

  • Assisting with food preparation

  • Supporting catering events

  • Cleaning and sanitizing dining and kitchen areas

  • Providing excellent customer service

  • Helping maintain an efficient and welcoming dining environment

Pay & Schedule
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

  • Flexible scheduling

  • Training provided

  • Temporary position with scheduled hours not to exceed 1,040 hours per year

  • This position is not eligible for benefits or leave!

Required Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma/GED

  • Able to stand long periods of time

  • Able to lift 25 lbs. or more on a regular basis

  • Ability to work independently and as a team to reach department goals and expectations
