VP, Business Manager Global Banking Operations - (employer: Natixis North America LLC; job location: New York, NY) - Manage and execute Global Banking Operations (GBO) project management responsibilities, overseeing new projects and initiatives from initiation to on-time delivery within the GBO function. Lead operations initiatives by identifying and implementing process improvements in collaboration with Information Technology and Operations teams to enhance efficiency, control, and service delivery. Ensure adherence to GBO 1.2 controls by monitoring control effectiveness, executing required controls, and reporting exceptions to senior management. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze and resolve outstanding issues, driving solutions related to P&L and cash flow when applicable, aged receivables/payables, insurance, covenants, and other operational risk factors. Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Global Banking Operations teams, Head Office GBO Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, IT, Control Tower, Operational Risk Management, and other support functions to align on objectives and governance. Contribute to the development and launch of new tools/services, providing operations input on feasibility, process design, controls, and implementation planning. Monitor key performance indicators for global operations, prepare concise reports for executive leadership, and implement corrective actions as needed to meet targets. Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and corporate standards across regions, including risk management and control documentation. Lead or participate in continuous improvement programs to standardize processes and reduce operational risk across the GBO function. Write and update procedures to improve operational processes. Requirements: Master’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role. All of the required experience must have included experience with: utilizing knowledge of Complex Loan Structures & Lifecycle Management (syndicated loans, bilateral loans, agency loans, closing fees management, collaterals, and covenants); financial and operations controls, reconciliation, and related control activities; leveraging LoanIQ for critical operations, including transaction processing, data integrity controls, and reporting; utilizing advanced Excel functionalities for data analysis and generating insightful reports; managing and controlling payments operations via Calypso and Cashplus, ensuring accurate transaction processing and data integrity; project management in Banking Operations; managing and optimizing Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI) to ensure accurate and timely payment processing, minimizing settlement failures; understanding private insurance requirements within loan operations, including accurate recording in LoanIQ and proactive reporting for risk mitigation; and authoring, updating, and implementing comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures to standardize processes and ensure consistent operational execution. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York City office and flexibility to telecommute from within the NY tri-state area (NY, NJ, and CT).
