What You'll Do:
  • Develop and maintain SysML models supporting complex system architectures
  • Apply MBSE methodologies to system design, functional decomposition, and interface definition
  • Support requirements development, traceability, verification, and validation activities
  • Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, and test engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle
  • Conduct trade studies and architectural analyses to support engineering decisions
  • Integrate requirements management tools and system models to support digital engineering initiatives
  • Support DoDAF and digital architecture framework development activities
  • Drive adoption of MBSE best practices across engineering teams
  • Participate in Agile development activities and cross-functional technical reviews
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, MBSE, Digital Engineering, or related engineering disciplines (or 3+ years with a Master's degree)
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related STEM field
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience using MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler
  • 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining SysML models, including behavioral, structural, and requirements diagrams
  • 3+ years of experience performing requirements management using DOORS, DOORS Next Generation, or similar tools
  • 3+ years of experience supporting system architecture development, functional decomposition, and interface definition
What Sets You Apart:
  • Experience applying systems engineering principles throughout the product lifecycle
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Experience supporting Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), defense, aerospace, or other complex mission-critical systems
  • Experience implementing MBSE methodologies across large-scale engineering programs
  • Knowledge of DoDAF or similar architecture frameworks
  • Experience conducting trade studies and systems-level analyses
  • Strong understanding of digital engineering principles and model integration techniques
  • Ability to communicate complex system designs through models and architecture artifacts
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills in cross-functional environments
  • Interest in applying AI-driven approaches to systems engineering and process improvement
Additional Information:
  • Position is fully onsite in Dedham, MA
  • Flexible 9/80 work schedule available (every other Friday off)
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check
  • Occasional overtime may be required based on program needs
