What You Will Do:

We're seeking a passionate and driven Manager, Training Activation, to join our high-performing team. In this exciting role, you will shape and deliver impactful training strategies that equip our sales force with the expertise to achieve remarkable results. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Medical Training Activation, you will be instrumental in developing and executing innovative learning programs that drive sales growth and elevate brand advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Training Design: Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to identify training needs and develop cutting-edge, results-oriented programs that align with business objectives. Your strategic thinking will be crucial in crafting learning experiences that maximize impact.
  • Develops and delivers training: Designs, implements, and facilitates training workshops for various groups, including sales teams and new hires, utilizing both traditional and digital methods.
  • Program Execution & Facilitation: Lead the implementation and facilitation of dynamic training programs for National Sales Meetings and ongoing development initiatives. Your engaging presentation style and ability to connect with diverse audiences will inspire and motivate our sales teams.
  • Performance Enhancement Coaching: Co-travel with sales personnel, providing on-the-job coaching and mentorship to enhance product knowledge, selling skills, and overall effectiveness. Your ability to assess performance gaps and provide constructive feedback will be key to driving individual and team success.
  • Curriculum Development & Content Creation: Design and create engaging, multi-platform learning content, including digital resources such as podcasts, newsletters, and video micro-learnings. Your creativity and expertise in adult learning principles will ensure that our training materials are impactful and relevant.
  • Learning Management System (LMS) Administration: Manage and maintain the LMS platform, tracking user engagement and ensuring optimal utilization of learning resources. Your technical proficiency and attention to detail will be essential in optimizing the effectiveness of our learning technology.
  • Field Trainer Development: Coach, develop, and mentor field-based trainers, empowering them to effectively onboard new hires and deliver impactful training programs. Your leadership skills and ability to inspire others will be instrumental in building a high-performing training team.
  • Retail Education Support: Drive retail excellence by creating and delivering impactful educational programs for L'Oreal's retail network. Lead key initiatives such as "Le Care," the LDB Academy, and Train the Trainer programs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Facilitate dynamic training sessions, including round robins, conference workshops, and targeted events that include SHAs and RDs. Contribute to the development of high-quality educational content to support these initiatives.
  • Training Effectiveness Measurement: Develop and implement a comprehensive measurement strategy to assess the impact of training programs on sales performance and other key metrics. Your analytical skills and data-driven approach will provide valuable insights into training effectiveness and ROI.
  • Administrative Support: Manage administrative tasks, including travel arrangements, vendor payments, and expense reports, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will contribute to the seamless execution of training programs.
  • Analyzes performance and identifies training needs: Collaborates with other departments to assess training needs, analyze performance gaps, and develop targeted training initiatives.
  • Contributes to brand strategy and marketing: Develops expertise in assigned brands and contributes to omni-channel marketing plans to drive sales performance.
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
    • 4+ years of relevant industry experience
    • Must have experience within dermatology products
    • Strong project management skills
    • Excellent verbal, written, and facilitation skills
    • Strategic thinking and decisive action.
    • Coaching and mentoring abilities
    • Self-motivated learner with a strong aptitude for sales training
    • Self starter
    • High emotional intelligence and exceptional organizational skills
    • Must be able to lift boxes or equipment up to 35 lbs.
    • Must be able to travel up to 30% - 40% working nights and weekends as necessary
  • Preferred:
    • Cosmetic or sales/management experience
    • Prior sales training experience (corporate and/or field-based)
