We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will provide direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, ranging from high to low risk, in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize and problem solve in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to patient and family-centered care.

In addition to the primary position in this unit, employees will be oriented and trained in various competencies and modes of care and delivery across the OB service. Floating among units to meet the variable needs of volume and acuity is an ongoing expectation for all OB/GYN nurses.

• Provide direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in labor and delivery.
• Demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Commit to patient and family-centered care.
• Be oriented and trained to various competencies/modes of care and delivery across the OB service.
• Float among units to meet the variable needs of volume and acuity.

12-hour Shifts; 4 days per week; ALL Rotating Shift Schedules

• RN License (NY ONLY)
• Two (2) years of experience in labor and delivery required
• OR and triage experience highly desired

• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Required
