Oversees the administrative operations for the VNS Health Medical Care at Home -Medical Group Practice, which includes maximizing operational workflows, efficiency, financial viability and customer satisfaction. Works under general direction.

What You Will Do
- Directs the day-to-day administrative operations of the Medical Care at Home Professional Corporation (PC) operations, which includes defining and administering operations including clinician credentialing, referrals and visit scheduling, supplies and equipment dispensing and inventory maintenance, and billing processes.
- Collaborates with the Vice President, Clinical Director and members of the PC team to develop and implement policy and procedures established by leadership.
- Implements quality improvement strategies and monitors attainment of PC goals and objectives of identified strategies. Identifies areas for improvement and makes recommendations, as appropriate.
- Supports the development and implementation of the PC's business plan according to the direction of the primary shareholder and Board of Directors.
- Collaborates with the Medical Care at Home Manager of Data and Analytics regarding the electronic medical record (EMR) configuration and reporting.
- Participates in vendor negotiation and contracting for required professional and business services. Monitors cost and quality of contracted work deliverables; intervenes to promote improvements and ensure cost competitiveness.
- Oversees and manages the coding, billing, collection and remediation of denial process for the PC.
- Monitors operations, programs, and physical properties for the PC. Recommends and initiates enhancements to operational effectiveness, emphasizing cost containment without jeopardizing the quality of care.
- Ensures day-to-day operational compliance with all applicable federal, state and local statutes and regulations pertaining to new product service delivery and patient care.
- Develops the department operating budget in collaboration with the Vice President and provides recommendations regarding resource allocation. Oversees fiscal productivity and billing indicators for all programs within the PC. Monitors performance related to business plans and forecasts. Tracks revenue from billing and collections through P&L analysis, identifies variances, and recommends or implements operational actions to improve financial performance within established budget parameters.
- Ensures dissemination and monitors integration of standard policies across the practice. Revises policies and procedures as indicated.
- Evaluates and monitors workflows and recommends need for additional staff based on work volume and revenue potential.
- Performs all duties inherent in a director role, including, hiring, training, supervising, evaluating, recommending salary actions and when necessary, terminating assigned staff in accordance with Agency policies and procedures.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Master's Degree in a health related field, Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline, preferred
Work Experience:
- Minimum of five years experience in medical practice operations required and
- Experience with a "house calls" practice and with telemedicine operations preferred
- Supervisory/management experience required
Pay Range
USD $122,300.00 - USD $164,000.00 /Yr.
