Claims Processor

Join a dynamic team supporting critical customer payment processes in a role with a leading organization. As a Claims Processor, you will play a vital role in administering annuity death claims and income-related transactions, ensuring timely and accurate customer payments. This position offers an engaging opportunity to leverage your customer service expertise in a supportive environment, with the flexibility of primarily remote work and minimal onsite presence.

What You'll Do:



  • Review and process annuity and life insurance transactions, verifying documentation and claim requirements.
  • Maintain accurate claim records within company systems.
  • Prepare and send professional customer correspondence.
  • Resolve routine claim processing issues and research discrepancies to ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor work queues, prioritize tasks, and adhere to strict turnaround times.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary claim information.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Support quality reviews and audit procedures while providing excellent service to internal and external customers.


Required Skills:



  • Proven customer service experience, particularly in handling complex transactions or claims.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively within established timelines.
  • Familiarity with processing claims or transactions in the financial, insurance, or related industries is a plus.


Nice to Have Skills:



  • Experience with annuity, life insurance, or financial institutions.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards relating to claims processing.
  • Prior experience working remotely in a professional environment.


Preferred Education and Experience:



  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance, insurance, or related fields is advantageous.
  • 3+ years of relevant customer service or claims processing experience.


Other Requirements:



  • Fully remote role with minimal onsite meetings (about 2 days a month).
  • Ability to start as soon as possible.
  • U.S. citizenship or authorized work status.
  • Strong track record of reliability and professional communication.
